ROBIN ODOM OWENS
Ms. Owens earned her bachelor’s in business from Howard University and her master’s in education from the University of Michigan. She has traveled extensively for both business and leisure, spending time in her early years working with nonprofits and women’s groups in Cameroon, West Central Africa. Ms. Owens makes her home in Houston, Texas, where her educational and entrepreneurial interests coalesced. Over the past sixteen years Ms. Owens has been a business, education and nonprofit leader, managing multi-year and multi-million-dollar grants, contracts and projects in the public and private sector.
In addition to her business and educational accomplishments, Ms. Owens is a busy mother of three, a fitness enthusiast and an active community volunteer for a variety of civic, political and social causes.
In her spare time, Ms. Owens enjoys spending time with family and traveling with friends.
ANDREA ODOM
Ms. Odom is also the founder of the Houston Chapter of National Sales Network, a sales and networking organization for African Americans in the sales industry. After founding the local chapter, she served as chapter President for 3 terms and held various positions on the National Board. She has also served on the board of Central Care and held positions and memberships in multiple organizations such as Links, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Twelve Days of Christmas and The Greater Black Chamber of Houston.
Ms. Odom is also a mediator trained in general and family mediation and most recently gaining experience in Truancy mediation with HISD. A busy mom with three active kids, Ms. Odom can often be found accompanying her children to their various activities and lending her time and talent to their schools as a volunteer.
